Fire Service Administration
Information
Sheet
What can you do to get
ready for the Bachelor's of Applied Science Degree?
The Bachelor of Applied Science
Degree is built on a "2 + 2" platform. This means that
the first 2 years of the Bachelor Degree must be taken at our 2 Year
Colleges. We have determined that you must complete the AAS in Fire
Science Technology or have an equivalent before entering the Bachelor
of Applied Science Degree program. This is because of the strong emphasis
on written communications and technical knowledge needed in order to
do the work on the Web.
Therefore your starting point
is to contact one of the 3 Colleges that grant an AAS Degree in Fire
Science. They will help you determine what you need to do to complete
your AAS Degree or they can determine if you have the needed equivalent.
