Supplemental Training:
While the online classes offer the base training, site-specific supplemental training is necessary for some employees. For example, Environmental Awareness Resource Conservation and Recovery Act covers the basic awareness training for hazardous waste regulations. For those employees generating, handling or disposing any chemical waste from a studio, shop or lab, additional training specific to hazardous waste issues in their jobs and area can be arranged by contacting the campus Environmental and Health Director.
