The Minnesota State Colleges and Universities' Fire/EMS/Safety Center provides oversight and leadership in 4 major areas:
- First Responder and Safety/Compliance Training and Education Programs
- American Heart Association's Multi Regional Training Center (MRTC)
- Internal System All Hazards Planning and Safety/Health/Code Compliance
- Information and Research Coordination through the Center's Fire, EMS and Safety Library

Notice: STARS, and other selected e-services functions will not be available starting at 5:00pm Thursday, March 5th through Monday, March 9th.
The MnSCU central office in St. Paul has scheduled a major conversion of the Integrated Student Record System (ISRS) database that requires a three- to four-day shutdown. The new system maintenance shutdown dates are March 5 at the end of the business day through March 9 if necessary.
